2021 VIRTUAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Youth Leadership Council was established in 1989 with a goal of teaching the youth to be well equipped leaders in our community. Their mission is to empower youth and young professionals by promoting leadership development, civic engagement, and multicultural understanding while building awareness of issues facing the Asian American community.
This year’s Youth Leadership Conference will be a two day virtual conference followed with an optional in-person post conference gathering. The virtual conference will be on August 7 & 8, 2021 from 10 AM – 2 PM CST and is open to high school students across the United States. The optional post conference gathering, which includes dinner, will take place on Sunday, August 8 from 6-8 PM CST at Hermann Park. Students will have the opportunity to participate in virtual leadership development activities, connect with other Asian American high school students, and meet mentors they can go to for advice about college, careers, and life beyond high school.
FREE (Students who attend the two-day virtual conference this year will receive a 15% discount on next year’s 2022 Youth Leadership Conference)
