General Board



 Aaron Chang
Aaron attends the University of Houston where he is pursuing a BS in mechanical engineering. He is also a design engineer for Veristic Technologies. He has participated in YLC since 2001 as a mentor, liason, volunteer, and now board member. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys being a DJ and is also an Eagle Scout.

Judy Hong
Judy graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Psychology and minor in Business. Currently she works as a social worker for Hurricane Katrina victims at a non-profit organization in Houston. Judy began as a mentee, has mentored for six consecutive years, and is now on the Fundraising Committee for YLC. Her hobbies include corresponding with YLC members, eating out with YLC members, and hanging out with fellow YLCers.


Tim Hsu
Tim Hsu graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in advertising. He is currently working as a free lance graphic designer. He has attended the Youth Leadership Conference as a mentor in 2006 and is currently a board member.



Tom Huynh
Tom Huynh is currently pursuing a business degree at the Bauer College of Business Administration at the University of Houston. Only a sophomore in college, Tom is currently working at Hifi Graphic, a small design firm. He first became involved in YLC as a student. He wanted to become more involved in YLC and decided to become a mentor and now a board member for YLC.


Huy Pham
Huy graduated from Alief-Elsik High School in 2000 and went on to obtain degrees in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science and Philosophy from MIT. Currently, he is working at Texas Instruments as a Marketing Manager. He has been a mentor for two years and is excted about being on the general board. Huy also volunteers with Sunflower Mission and the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association.



Wendy Shieh
Wendy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Advertising and another in Communication Studies. Wendy has experienced all aspects of YLC-as a student, mentor, and a board member. Wendy is currently employed as the Human Resources/Marketing Coordinator for a property management company in Sugar Land.

Denise Truong
Denise participated as a mentor and liaison in '05 and '06 while at UT Austin (McCombs), and is a board member for this year. Currently, she does program development work for a Vietnamese community-based nonprofit organization called Boat People SOS. Lately, she's been contemplating about going back to school to study science. Sports, sashimi, and new experiences make her happy.
